The Sanitation Facilities Construction Program was created via P.L. 86-121 with the primary purpose of providing safe sanitary facilities for Indian homes. The home sites served by this project currently do not have safe drinking water and sewer, and are eligible for assistance under the SFC Program. The Billings Area Indian Health Service in Billings, Montana is acquiring construction services in accordance with the attached technical specifications associated with Request for Quotation 75H70922Q-008 for water pressure systems with performance occurring on the Crow Indian Reservation, Montana.
The procurement is conducted pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR 36, Construction and Architect—Engineer Contracts.
NOTICE OF INDIAN SMALL BUSINESS ECONOMIC ENTERPRISE SET-ASIDE
Under the Buy Indian Act, 25 U.S.C. 47, offerors are solicited only from Indian economic enterprises that are also small business concerns. Any acquisitions resulting from this solicitation will be from such a concern. Offerors received from enterprises that are not both Indian economic enterprises and small business concerns will not be considered and will be rejected.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The scope of work is to provide pumps, pressure tanks, pipe and electrical equipment to provide drinking water for the residents of the home. The system will convey water from the source (well or public water system) to the home, and training will be given on how to operate the new water facilities.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:
Period of Performance will for 12-months contingent upon award.
