The General Services Administration (GSA), Great Lakes Region 5, announces an opportunity to acquire a qualified firm with expertise in historic masonry to re-point the exterior brick facades at the Charles A. Halleck Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse located at 230 N. 4th Street in Lafayette, Indiana. Re-pointing will include all brick on exterior rear facades that surround the middle and lower roofs along the alleyway. This shall include some areas needing replacement of steel window lintels, replace metal drip edges/flashings, install vertical control joints & new weep holes, remove/replace damaged face brick, repair back-up bricks, install new metal brick ties, and add neoprene spacer blocks.
A pre-proposal conference and site visit is scheduled for June 30, 2022.
