Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value)
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Atlantic requires eighteen (18) replacement Cathelco TZX27 or Wilson Walton NOAA-CU-16425 anodes.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
(ii) Solicitation number NMAN2120-22-01230 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ).
(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06.
(iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 335999, All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing; the small business size standard is 500 Employees. This procurement is set aside for small businesses.
(v) Line items are as follows:
CLIN 1: Eighteen (18) Cathelco TZX27 or Wilson Walton NOAA-CU-16425 anodes
(vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The vendor is to provide the brand name or equal items per the attached statement of need.
(vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point.

Offers that are non-responsive may be excluded from further evaluation and rejected without further notification to the offeror.

21-Jun-2022 - Clarification from the requisitioner - They only need the Anode bodies under this procurement - they will reuse the existing flange/housing assemblies.
