ISSUED.
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, RI intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract
on a sole source basis to Falmouth Scientific Inc, CAGE Code 0MAN5, for the development of a Partial Array 3.0 design concept using textured ceramic transmit elements. This requirement is being solicited as a sole source requirement under North American
Industry System (NAICS) 541330, as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business, Size
Standard is $22.5 millions of dollars. Falmouth Scientific Inc. is the only transducer manufacturer that has been licensed for the
STAT technology by Image Acoustics Inc. (see attached Sole Source Justification).
In accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(13), the requirement for a synopsis has been waived. The solicitation,
N66604-22-Q-0436, is released and is attached as part of this notice. This solicitation is not a request for competitive quotes, however, all quote received by the closing date will be considered by the Government for future requirements. A determination not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Quotes received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Quotes shall be submitted via email on or before Thursday, June 09, 2022, 2:00PM EST. Offers received after the closing date are considered to be late and will not be considered for award.
