The purpose of this amendment is to (1). Incorporate changes to the Statement of Work (SOW), new SOW dated 25 May 2022. (2). To change 52.228-1 (c) to read “The amount of the bid guarantee shall be 20 percent of the bid price or $ 3 million, whichever is less."

SUMMARY OF CHANGES TO SOW
Clean and repaint the CMU wall that semi-encloses the HVAC package unit (see picture 1 in Attachment 1), remove and replace the push-in seals for all the 3 store front doors, metal painting shall include gutters and down spouts. Furthermore, no chemicals or abrasives of any type shall be used for exterior cleaning; wastewater from washing the brushes shall not go down any sewer system to include storm or sanitary sewers. Contractor shall be responsible for disposing all associated paint liquids from Little Rock AFB.
The 189AW Little Rock AFB, AR intends to issue an Invitation for Bids to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the repainting of B133. Significant work items include repainting the existing approximately 6,100 SF of CMU wall attached to the facility as well as the small section of CMU wall that semi-encloses the electrical panels. Reseal the exterior of all windows on the existing facility (approximately 14 windows total). One additive bid item (ABI) is included to repaint approximately 7,200 SF of galvalume metal to match the new addition on the south end of the facility. The new paint shall consist of a paint system compatible with the surfaces to be painted and match the color and finishes of the recent addition to the facility. Additionally, extra measures shall be completed on the north side of the facility to address the porous nature of the CMU wall and potential cracks that have caused chronic leaking issues. Approximately 14 windows shall be resealed, approximately 6,100 SF of CMU and concrete wall shall be water sealed, and total 13,300 SF of wall and metal siding shall be painted. This project does have a brand name requirement portion to match existing color and that brand name is Sherwin Williams, color: Believable Buff SW 6120. This project shall result in the completion of work within all Federal, State, and Installations laws and codes, and product manufactures’ recommendations.
The contract duration is 90 days after notice to proceed. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $39,500,000.00. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000.
