This is a sources sought notice only. The GSA desires to procure a contract for Concrete Repair's for a Street Parking Lot on a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business basis provided two (2) or more qualified Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses respond to this sources sought notice with information sufficient to support a set-aside. Be advised that the GSA will not be able to setaside this requirement if two (2) more Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses do not respond with information to support the setaside.
This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes, it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid(IFB)/Request for Proposal or a promise to issue and RFQ, IFB or RFPin the future. This notice does not commit the GSA to contract for any supply or service.
Further, the GSA is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time, and will not accept any unsolicitated proposals in response to this sources sought notice. The GSA will not pay for any infomation cost incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this noticedoes not preclude participation in any future RFQ, IFB or RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Government Point of Entry. It is the responsibility of a potential to monitor the Government Point of Entry for additonal information pertaining to this requirement. The anticipated NAICS code is 238110, Paved Concrete Foundation & Structure Contractors with a Size Standard of $16.5 million.
IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, PLEASE PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING;
1. Name of firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS Number, Cage Code, a statement regarding small business status (including what type of small busineess you are, certifications, and corresponding NAICS Code.
2. Identify whether your firm is interested in competing for this requirement as a Prime Contractor or not. Identify subcontracting, joint ventures or teaming agreements that will be pursued if any.
3. Information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience (indicate whether as a prime contractor or subcontractor) on similiar requirements (include scope or subcontractor).
4. Identify how GSA can best structure these contract requirements to facilite competition by and among all small business concerns.
5. Identify any condition or action that may be having the effect of unnecessary restricting competition with respect to this acquisition.
6. Recommendiations to improve the approach/specifications/draft scope of work.
