This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 531110. The small business size standard is $30.0M. This is a new requirement, no incumbent.
The NOAA Fisheries Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC) has a requirement for a rental house in Anchorage Alaska required for 7-10 days each of the three survey periods between June 1 and September 30 each year (~21-30 days per year). The number of field personnel and dates may vary slightly from year to year to coincide with the timing of low tides in Cook Inlet.as specified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
CLIN 0001 Base Period Housing will be required during the following three periods in 2022:
- 25 July - 2 August, three people
- 9 - 16 August, three people
- 23 - 31 August, three people
CLIN 1001 Option Period 1, housing will be needed for as few as 3 and as many as 5 field crew for 21 – 30 days between 1 June – 30 September, 2023. Exact dates are TBD by the Marine Mammal Lab, and contingent upon a government need and funding still existing.
CLIN 2001 Option Year 2, housing will be needed for as few as 3 and as many as 5 field crew for 21 – 30 days between 1 June – 30 September, 2024. Exact dates are TBD by the Marine Mammal Lab, and contingent upon a government need and funding still existing.
CLIN 3001 Option Year 3, housing will be needed for as few as 3 and as many as 5 field crew for 21 – 30 days between 1 June – 30 September, 2025. Exact dates are TBD by the Marine Mammal Lab, and contingent upon a government need and funding still existing.
