This notice is a Sources Sought Notice for a requirement at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. This notice is being issued to determine interested vendors and to help establish an appropriate set – aside if applicable. Please note that this is NOT a Request For Quotation (RFQ) and submission of your company’s interest may not result in your company being considered for a set – aside or bidders list for the RFQ. This sources sought notice is for market research purposes only. Vendors that are able to provide this material need to provide the following in an e-mail to Emily.bateman@dla.mil.
RESPONSES MUST INCLUDE:
1. Vendor’s name, address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address.
2. Vendor’s Cage Code (SAM).
3. Vendor’s size status (SB, SDVOSB, 8a, HUBZone, WOSB, etc.,).
4. If the vendor is not the actual manufacturer, the actual manufacturer’s name, Cage Code, and size status is required.
5. Statement explaining capabilities, including, but not limited to, specific Model Number, with detailed literature and manufacturers specifications regarding the capabilities of the machine.
Information provided in response to this notice must include sufficient technical information for an evaluation to be conducted, to determine if a source is capable. Responses that do not include technical information may be determined unresponsive and/or not capable.

The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard interested in issuing a 5-year IDIQ contract, evaluated for multiple award, and is seeking sources capable of providing the following:
CLIN 0001: Vent Duct 8", New England Rubber part number EF-FR-GR-BK-8 or equal. 8" ID X 24' lengths. Flex-tube EF-FR 8" per Attachment 2; Color: green w/black helix.
CLIN 0002: Vent Duct 8", New England Rubber part number EF-FR-BL-BK-8 or equal. 8" ID X 24' lengths. Flex-tube EF-FR 8" per Attachment 2; Color: blue w/black helix.
CLIN 0003: Vent Duct 8", New England Rubber part number TR-FR-BK-GR-8 or equal. 8" ID X 24' lengths. Flex-tube TR-FR 8" per Attachment 2; Color: black w/green helix.
CLIN 0004: Vent Duct 4", New England Rubber part number TR-FR-BK-GR-4 or equal. 4" ID X 24' lengths. Flex-tube TR-FR 4" per Attachment 2; Color: black w/ green helix.

CLIN 0010: Vent Duct 8" Aluminum, New England Rubber part number IN20AL-8-20 or equal. 8" ID X 20' lengths. Unlined w/no packing. Interlocking Flexible Aluminum Hose Assembly. Manufacture to 0.019" to 0.020" thick material w/unlocked & deburred end cuts.
CLIN 0011: Vent Duct 6" Aluminum, New England Rubber part number IN20AL-6-10 or equal. 6" ID X 10' lengths. Unlined w/no packing. Interlocking Flexible Aluminum Hose Assembly. Manufacture to 0.019" to 0.020" thick material w/unlocked & deburred end cuts.

***Vendors who would not be providing ducting from one of the sources identified on the Approved Vendors List, below, would be required (NOT AT THIS TIME) to submit a 1’ sample at no cost to the Government of each type of ducting to show that their product meets the specifications. Samples will not be returned after testing***
