1 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor, not stated as a Government Furnished Property or Service, necessary to provide pyrotechnic displays at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Anchorage Alaska.
1.1 Period of Performance
Base Period: 29 - 31 Jul 2022
1.2 Specific Requirements
1.2.1 Two pyrotechnics performances in support of Arctic Thunder Open House. One performance for the Joint Force Demonstration on 30 Jul and one for 31 July 2022. Each performance will contain a minimum of the following:
• Two-attention getter explosions (no fire)
• Ten-double bombs
• One-cluster bomb
• One-300 foot napalm
• Two-red, white and blue strafe
• One-1000 foot wall of fire
1.2.2 The contracted vendor is responsible to properly remove and dispose of all unused explosive materials including explosive and non-explosive residue generated from the contracted performance immediately following the conclusion of the Open House.
1.2.3 The contracted vendor is responsible to manage and destroy all misfired explosives during the contracted performance for the Open House.
1.2.4 If an explosive event occurs that exceeds the contractor capability you may request assistance through the Air Boss, who will coordinate with the JBER EMS for the proper response unit.
1.2.5 All planning, setup, teardown, and debrief will be included. The two performances will be contained in a 550ft x 1250ft box centered at N61 15'33.157", W149 47'47.398" (on JBER airfield).
