This update is to clarify the delivery terms. There is no required delivery date or lead time. Offerors should include an estimated delivery date on their quote submissions. Delivery is FOB Destination to Newport, RI 02841.
The synopsis for this requirement is being waived in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(13). This solicitation will be open for less than 30 days, in accordance with FAR 5.203(b).
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) Towed Array Handling Equipment Facility (TAHEF) is the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) certified Designated Overhaul Point for the OA-9070 Series Deployable Array Working Group (DAWG). The OA-9070 DAWG is essential for deployment and retrieval operations of the thinline towed array used on SSN 688 and SSN 774 Class Submarines. The Digital Optical Tube Empty Sensor (DOTES) is a component of the OA-9070A/E DAWG and used to transmit array scope data during deployment and retrieval operations. The Mounting Block is a component of the DOTES and is required to manufacture the DOTES at the TAHEF.
NUWCDIVNPT intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order for the following:
CLIN 0001 DOTES Mounting Blocks in accordance with Drawing No. 8625240 Rev. C, QTY 30
CLIN 0002 DATA in accordance with Contract Data Requirements List, Exhibit A, 1 LOT (see Attachments)
