The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) continually seeks opportunities to enhance the benefits and services provided to the customers. In furtherance of its mission to provide the commissary benefit, DeCA builds, operates, and maintains a total of 184 commissaries organized into 8 maintenance groups (see attached map) in the continental United States (CONUS), plus Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, and Puerto Rico. Currently, DeCA is exploring the feasibility of an enhanced approach to Commissary Facilities Maintenance Preventative Maintenance and Repair contracts. DeCA’s maintenance contracts support store locations with ongoing Whole Facilities Maintenance and Repair Services provided by qualified contractors in accordance with DeCA criteria and standards. Services typically include the following:
-Program Management
-Call Center Services
-Site Maintenance Personnel (for each location)
-Preventative Maintenance (Equipment, Real Property, HVAC, and Roof Systems)
-Unscheduled Maintenance (Emergency and Non-Emergency for Equipment, Real Property, HVAC, and Roof Systems. Also include performing Special Projects as determined by the Facilities Sustainment Division.)
-Remote Monitoring Control Systems (RMCS) Services will be monitored and accepted in person by Store Personnel. Members of the Facility Sustainment Division will be monitoring services through SOMS (Service Order Management System)
