Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County is seeking an architectural firm to provide it with a facility assessment, space needs assessment, and remodel design for the Harvey County Detention Center. The Detention Center is in need of mechanical and structural improvements, internal and external cosmetic/aesthetic improvements, internal and external improvements to address safety/security concerns, and to better utilize the existing space within the Detention Center facility. The selected firm will need to assess the current and future needs of the facility. This information will be utilized to plot a course for addressing current mechanical/structural concerns, current and future space needs, while making other needed improvements. The services of the successful firm should begin immediately after the award of the contract.
