Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project consists of partial existing loading dock demolition, CMU infill walls, wood framed walls, double 15 door installation, kiln exhaust venting, stucco, and paint. Work includes but not limited to, removing existing loading dock damaged concrete areas, metal bumper 18 guard structure, and partial exterior concrete stair. Patch and repair demolition areas to match existing. 19 Infill existing South and West wall openings with reinforced CMU walls to be grouted solid. South and West 20 exterior wall finish to be stucco to match existing texture. Interior walls to be wood framed with fiber cement 21 panel siding. All painted surfaces to match existing color(s). Install insulated metal double door in South 22 infill wall. Install kiln venting to terminate at west infill wall. Relocate existing attic ventilation. Use sealant, 23 caulking, water stop, elastomeric paint to provide weather resistant assembly. The City will select a qualified individual or firm based on qualifications. Once selected, the City will negotiate a scope and fee with the qualified individual or firm. Should the city be unsuccessful in the negotiations, the City has the option to negotiate with the next most qualified individual or firm. All SOQs are subject to the provisions and requirements of the City of Coos Bay Rules of Local Contract Review, the Oregon Revised Statutes, and the Attorney General’s Model Public Contract Rules.
