Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Public Safety’s (PSD’s) Correction Division’s Reentry Coordination Office (RCO) is requesting proposals from qualified applicants to provide Reentry Planning Circles services for adult offenders at the Waiawa Correctional Facility (WCF) and Women’s Community Correctional Center (WCCC). The Reentry Planning Circle service’s goal is to assist the offender to remain a law-abiding citizen and not recidivate. 1. Provider shall allow offenders, their families, and prison staff members the opportunity to discuss and produce written transition plans. 2. Provider shall include a detailed solution- evidence-based planning process that emphasizes that offenders are responsible for their own choices. 3. Provider shall help offenders develop detailed plans for obtaining housing, employment, and other necessities. The Provider shall not propose to provide housing, employment, or other necessities services. Please note that PSD has existing vendors who have been awarded contracts to provide clean and sober housing, employment, substance abuse treatment, and other necessities services through the competitive bid procurement process, etc.
