Specifications include, but are not limited to: This State funded project that will require the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and travel / lodging cost to remove and replace existing Point Mackenzie Correctional Farm (PMCF) septic system. The intent of this contract is to replace septic system identified in the attached drawings. This project is in an active Jail and the owner will be operating the facility 24/7 during the project. As such, the contractor is required to work inside and outside of the secure perimeter. All tools and materials shall be removed and stored outside of the secure perimeter at the end of the work day or in an approved locked container. Tools inventory sheets or shadow board will be required for any tools secured on site. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and travel / lodging cost to remove and replace existing PMCF Septic system including two (2) septic tanks, Orenco Dual – Duplex lift station, pump vaults, pumps, piping, valves, control floats, filter basins, screens, filters, control panel, wiring, and raceways. All work shall be done in accordance with the National Electric Code and Uniform Mechanical Code. The successful bidder shall have all required certifications to perform work in confined spaces. Components of the work for this project includes: 1. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and appurtenances to replace Septic System Components, up to and including all incidental work and materials which may be required for a complete and operable system. 2. Contractor shall supply all new materials for this project. 3. The Contractor shall protect existing equipment, tanks, pumping system, piping, etc. during the contractor’s work and shall repair any damages done by the Contractor during the project at no expense to the state.
