Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this RFP for contractors is to assist in establishing a sustainable and equitable statewide mitigation Direct Technical Assistance Program. As part of this program the state will need contractors that can provide direct technical assistance for Utah and its communities mitigation project purposes. Equity will be a key in providing these services. Non-financial Direct Technical Assistance can provide holistic hazard mitigation planning and project support at the earliest stages to Utah communities, and tribes requesting assistance. This helps communities to reduce disaster damage, build community resilience, and sustain successful mitigation programs.
