Specifications include, but are not limited to: Systems quoted should: 1. Protect students, staff, and assets by providing video surveillance of school buildings and surrounding areas. 2. Have remote monitoring capabilities. 3. Offer 30 days of retention of video camera footage. 4. Offer audio recording where applicable (base bid includes 20% per location) 5. Have available comprehensive support services. Cameras: 1. High definition IP cameras, 8 megapixel resolution minimum for this bid. The winning bidder may propose lower resolution cameras for certain locations in their proposals for specific locations. 2. IP66 Rating for dust and environmental resistance 3. IK10 rating for vandal resistance where applicable 4. View DR (120dB) for areas that have lighting fluctuations 5. Day/Night capabilities 6. Power over Ethernet 7. Contractor will install a new CAT5E Plenum wire run to each camera location unless this type of wire is already in place. All other types of wire will be replaced to support new equipment. 8. Contractor will disclose any annual license fees that may apply. Video Management System: 1. Provides multiple levels of administrators 2. Capability to store 36TB or more 3. Capability to provide video monitors 4. Capability to view live video as well as historical video up to 1 month. 5. All hard drives must be “hot swappable”
