Specifications include, but are not limited to: The RCM project aims to deliver the following key benefits: ● Advance the University’s mission, identified in its Blueprint for Success, to create a transparent, centralized business operations model that responsibly uses University resources, supports collaboration, and promotes consistency across individual campus units. ● Ensure that program quality and long-term sustainability are considered alongside short-term financial incentives. ● Empower and align financial decision making, accountability, and budget obligations at the Responsibility Center levels. ● Develop robust processes that allow for an entrepreneurial approach to fiscal oversight activities with mechanisms that evaluate outcomes and enable the sunsetting of those activities that are not financially viable, or those that do not meet strategic needs. ● Create a system that allows for predictive financial modeling that can be adjusted according to academic needs, enrollment trending, or other significant directives required of public institutions. ● Ability to support adaptive modeling to allow high-quality, mission-critical, programs to understand the path to financial self-sufficiency and incentivized efficiency. ● Establish and fund core (base) university services along with shared expectations for services to be provided that minimize the administrative burden of chargebacks
