Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District is seeking the Materials specified in these RFP Documents from qualified and experienced publishing firms (the “Firm” or “Firms”). The Materials must be digital (online), supplemental, and interactive science content for Grades 6-8, including the Spanish/English Dual Language Program and Honors courses. The proposals and the Materials submitted will be evaluated by the District evaluation committee who will make a recommendation to the Board of Education regarding which Firm or Firms should provide the Materials for these courses. The District will negotiate with the selected Firm or Firms for the price for acquisition of the necessary Materials. After negotiations, a recommendation will be made by the District’s evaluation committee to the Board of Education. Once a satisfactory contract is negotiated between the District and the selected Firm or Firms, the contract will be presented to the Board of Education for approval.
