Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pests included in Service Requirements: Indoor populations of rodents, insects, arachnids and other arthropods Outdoor populations of potentially indoor-infesting species that are within the property boundaries of any building or site covered by this contract Nests of stinging insects within the property boundaries of any building covered by this contract Incidental invaders inside any building within this contract, including winged termite swarmer’s that emerge indoors, as well as birds, bats, squirrels, etc. Other Requirements: Inspections: The Vendor shall complete a thorough initial inspection of each building or site within sixty (60) days of the award of the contract. The purpose of these initial inspections is for the Vendor to evaluate the pest control needs of all locations and to identify areas of concern, including any equipment, structural features/modifications, and/or management practices that can contribute to pest infestations. Initial Meeting: The Vendor account manager shall visit the University to meet with the University IPM primary Manager to review the IPM program within the first fourteen (14) days of the provision of initial services and shall meet with each of the IPM managers who are party to this contract. Pest Control Plan: Within ninety (90) days of the award of the contract, the Vendor shall present to the University for evaluation a comprehensive Pest Control Plan. The University reserves the right to request revisions to this Plan, which shall consist of five (5) parts, as follows: (parts a. and b. immediately below must be satisfied within five (5) working days of the award of the contract): Proposed Materials and Equipment for Service: The Vendor shall provide current labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all pesticides to be used on campus, and brand names of pesticide application bait boxes, insect and rodent trapping devices, pest monitoring devices, pest detection equipment, and any other pest control devices, applications, materials/products or equipment that may be used on campus. Proposed Methods for Monitoring and Detection: The Vendor shall describe methods and procedures to be used in the identification of pest harborage and access, and in making objective assessments of levels throughout the term of the contract. Service Schedule for Each Building or Site: The Vendor shall provide service schedules that include the weekly or monthly frequency of Vendor-visits for each building or site, the specific day of the week of these visits, and the approximate duration of each visit.
