Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Iowa is conducting a Request for Quote for a contractor to perform work at the Jessie Parker Building ; This includes but is not limited to the construcon of a new wall to separate the elevator equipment from the rest of the mechanical closet and electrical modifications. 1. This contractor shall be responsible for the construction of a new metal framed wall to separate the elevator equipment from the rest of the mechanical closet. 2. This contractor shall coordinate the height of the new wall with existing piping above. 3. This contractor shall be responsible for relocating the existing key box as outlined in the contract documents.Confirm location with Design Team and Owner. 4. This contractor shall provide and install new hollow metal door, frame and hardware as outlined on the contract documents. 5. This contractor shall be responsible for painting all new and disturbed walls from construction. Paint color to match existing walls. 6. This contractor shall be responsible for sealing all penetration in rated and non-fire rated walls 7. This contractor shall protect existing equipment which includes but is not limited to building water service equipment, lights, hydraulic elevator machine, hydraulic lines, fire alarm modules and elevator control panel. 8. The following submittals shall be provided and approved prior to proceeding with ordering: a. Door and door frame b. Door hardware c. Paint selection
