Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this project is to solicit proposals from quality training providers who have the capacity to provide training programs designed to increase the number of certified professions who can perform lead-hazard identification and abatement service in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. The programs can include various deliver methods but must qualify as a certified course pursuant to Kentucky Administrative Regulations, 902 KAR 48:020 Training and certification requirements for person who perform lead-hazard detection and abatement. The vendor shall be capable of offering certified courses covering Lead-hazard abatement worker, Lead dust sampling technician, Lead-hazard inspector, Lead-hazard supervisor and Lead-hazard risk assessor. The Vendor shall collaborate with Louisville Metro Public Health & Wellness (LMPHW), the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (CLPPP) and other project partners to identify which courses will be provided based on identified needs of the community. Vendor shall ensure course participants meet prerequisites for specific training, provide all training material and auxiliary items required to meet certification, provide hands on training when required, provide all recording and reporting required by regulatory departments, and any other function necessary for training participants to be qualified to receive certifications following successful completion of offered training.
