Specifications include, but are not limited to: The administration area of the estimated 4,000 sq. ft. Transit Operations Facility will accommodate working space for employees (currently 4) and associated equipment, a small conference space, dedicated IT closet and file/storage space. This area should be secured and separate from the dispatch/driver working area and the public reception area. The dispatch/driver area of the Operations Facility will include a separate area for a break room and two single-occupant restrooms, both of which will be ADA accessible. No convenience showers are provided in the restrooms. A unisex space for employee lockers will be provided and is not intended for the changing of clothes. No convenience showers are provided in this area. A small reception area for the public to interact with dispatch staff will be required and include one restroom. Additional restroom facilities will be provided if required by code. The site design will require entrance/exit access via Hazel Dell Parkway, employee and bus operator parking, and customer and ADA spaces required by the City of Canby. The current bus yard property layout shares an entrance and open space with another business that at times leads to conflict with bus movement. The site design is required to accommodate the necessary paved and striped area for bus maneuverability into and out of the facility. An adequate paved area must also be designed to meet the operational needs of the bus wash area and driver shift change bus spaces.
