Specifications include, but are not limited to: The state of North Dakota, acting through its Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Heart River Correctional Center (STATE) is soliciting information from potential bidders for a secure women's unit that will serve up to 20 adult women in custody or under supervision. The bidder's program must have cognitive-behavioral foundation and will include a gender responsive, trauma informed and, evidenced based, open-ended substance abuse treatment up to level 3.5 treatment program. The bidder will include staffing plan and resources to address patient's medical, mental health and dual diagnosis needs, while providing supports and plan for reintegration into the community. The information, data, comments, or reactions obtained may be used as research for a future solicitation. This RFI does not constitute an Invitation for Bid, Request for Proposal, or Informal Request for Bid or Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by STATE. STATE will review all responses received. If STATE decides to issue a solicitation for commodities or services, the procurement will be conducted in accordance with North Dakota State Procurement laws, rules and guidelines.
