Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Software must allow users to automatically create a course-to-career optimal education plan, including term schedules for each student, advising what they need to know now, next semester, and after graduation. • Software should allow flexibility with changes from course offerings, requirements, or student’s needs. • Software should automatically recalculate and revise the student’s entire education plan and class schedule as conditions change, for the optimal opportunities for each student. • Software should warn students of the negative time and cost consequences (delaying graduation) when they set a problematic planning constraint. • Software should allow for the ease of advisor and advisee course enrollment, while adhering to all financial aid, programmatic, and prerequisite regulations. Software should also take into account differences for catalog years in which a student enrolled in a program. • Software should automate reverse transfer analysis. • Software should automatically identify for each student all eligible yet unawarded degrees and certificates, declared or not, across multiple catalog years, where the student has successfully completed, or is close to completing, all requirements as defined by KCTCS standards. • Provide data information to actual enrollment to more accurately model seat demands, in order to reduce the use of predictive data, and provide a more precise calculation to make the most out of facility usage, space, and classrooms for leadership decision making to ensure the right courses are offered at the right times, in the right capacities. • Provide software that will analyze each student’s completed courses and provide a comparison of them all to all available degree/credential requirements, even if the students have declared or not. • Must integrate with PeopleSoft. • Automatic notifications and email options. • Mobile options to allow students to use any device. • Inclusive of analytics and reporting. • Technical and telephone support services to all users.
