Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of demolition and removal of buildings at two sites within the Park. The site for this project is in a NH State Park and will be open to the public throughout the construction period. It is important to the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources that the site be maintained in a clean and presentable condition for the public. Therefore, all debris from the project shall be cleaned up daily and removed from the site at least on a weekly basis. Site A: Work includes the following: 1. Demolition of the Nature Center, an existing wood frame building with stone foundations of approximately 3,500 SF. The existing building has experienced structural failure and has collapsed. Demolition of existing septic tanks and dry well. Removal of all material from the site. 2. Protection and preservation of the existing stone fireplace and chimney. 3. Regrading of the site, loaming and hydroseeding. Site B: Work includes the following: 1. Demolition of 12 sleeping cabins at the Spruce Pond complex and removal of all material from the site. All buildings are wood framed with stone foundations, one story tall, and of approximately 250 SF each. 2. Sites to be regraded after building demolition and allowed to return to natural forest cover.
