Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Invitation to Bid (ITB) is created for the purpose of establishing a contract for the purchase and delivery of TARC's requirements for Ultra Low Sulfur #2 Diesel Fuel and/or Winter-Blend, on an as needed basis. PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS The product, Ultra Low Sulfur #2 Diesel fuel, shall have a maximum sulfur content range of 15 parts per million with lubricity additives that meet or exceed the HFRR (High Frequency Reciprocating Rig) 520 micron test standard. Product must meet or exceed engine manufacturers warranty requirements and all federal, state and industry standards that apply. The fuel supplier must take care to select fuel additives, particularly non-acidic ones, which do not cause adverse interactions with lubricant components. TARC will not accept any delivery containing more than 5% bio-diesel. Bidders are required to submit Product Specifications, as well as MSDS sheets, with the LETTER OF INTENT for the fuel and any / all chemical additives that will be used in the performance of the contract, if awarded.
