Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. APD Administrative Office Building (716 West 4th Ave) only Rooms with doors closed and marked “Do Not Clean” do not need to be cleaned. They may need to be cleaned by invitation. Doors will be clearly marked- But room use is subject to change. Custodial workers will be responsible for checking all areas for service changes. DAILY and BY INVITATION Section 4, Articles 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 as it pertains to all areas. Section 4, Article 4.4 and 4.7, as it pertains to the Front Lobby and Front Entry Foyer, and the Rear Entry. Sweep, mop, and vacuum the Front Lobby and Entry, the Rear Entry, and clean the inside of all entry glass. All applicable Articles of Section 4 and Section 5 as it pertains to the following areas: Restrooms, Locker Rooms and Showers, Interview Rooms, Break Rooms with kitchenette- (floors 1 through 6), Mail Room- (1st floor). Assigned Cleaning Tasks: After completion of the daily cleaning and before leaving the building, the custodial worker is required to check in with the designated APD employee for any Assigned Cleaning Tasks that need to be done for that day. Some days there may be no tasks, other days the tasks may require a couple of hours. On average, the Contractor should budget for ½ to 1 hour of custodial time for Assigned Cleaning Tasks each day. WEEKLY (Must be performed on Weekends- Either Saturday or Sunday) Section 4, Article 4.4 (floors), 4.7 (glass), 4.9 (mats), 4.10 (dusting), 4.11 (elevators), 4.12 (metal), 4.18 (spot cleaning), 4.19 (covered walls), 4.21 (benches, seats, furniture); as they pertain to all areas not on more frequent schedules. All applicable Articles of Section 5 as it applies to the entire building. Section 6, Article 6.2 (hard floor scrub/strip & wax) as it pertains to the following locations: Restrooms, Showers, the Front Entry Foyer and the Front Lobby. Sweep and mop the dumpster enclosure and immediate area in the alleyway. Sweep Rear Entry outside of security gate area. SEMI-ANNUALLY (Scheduled for the last weekend of the month of January and July) Section 4, Article 4.13 as it pertains to the Locker Rooms. Completely dust and wipe down the outside of the lockers, including the tops. ANNUALLY (Scheduled for the last weekend of the month of April) Section 6, (hard floor scrub/strip & wax and carpet shampooing) as it pertains to the entire building, except for floors already done on weekly schedule. B. APD Headquarters (4501 Elmore Road) only Rooms with doors closed and marked “Do Not Clean” do not need to be cleaned. They may need to be cleaned by invitation.
