Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is requesting the services of a Design/Build Contractor (Contractor) to submit a turn-key price to provide design documents and the installation of a new backup diesel generator, automatic transfer switch, and security enclosure at the ANTHC Warehouse located at 2000 East 88th Avenue Anchorage, Alaska 99507. The design/build contractor shall provide a complete set of design documents, as described herein, and sealed by a Professional Engineer registered in the State of Alaska. ANTHC is working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on mitigation work resulting from the M7.0 earthquake that struck Southcentral Alaska on November 30, 2018. The project is being funded by FEMA. ANTHC seeks a complete bid under this request. The bid shall be for the planning, design, installation, and permitting through the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA), including fees. he generator shall provide backup power in the event the main power is lost due to a natural disaster such as a major earthquake. Keeping the power on will mitigate potential loss of temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals and other temperature sensitive items stored in the warehouse. The design shall include, but not limited to the following: • Premium 250K diesel generator, including freight costs. • Factory installed skid base with a 48-hour integral fuel tank base. • Automatic transfer switch. • Sound attenuated and weather protective enclosure with cold weather bundle. • New associated electrical panels at the warehouse. • Cutting and patching at the exterior and interior of the warehouse to run new conduits and conductors. The new generator shall tie into the existing warehouse electrical grid to provide a turnkey backup generator system • CMU split face fully grouted and sealed security enclosure with gate and lock with a concrete slab sized accordingly, and exterior lighting mounted on the warehouse building face. The CMU enclosure shall include a matching masonry cap. The enclosure shall include six protective concrete filled painted four-inch steel bollards. The generator shall include seismic restraints. • Provide 1000 gallons of diesel fuel for initial use and commissioning. • Provide a detailed commissioning plan which includes installation, startup, system testing, and training.
