Specifications include, but are not limited to: The bid for chemicals is for Water and Wastewater Treatment facilities in Rochester New Hampshire. Prices quoted must remain in effect for the period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024 and will include delivery charges. All bulk tank deliveries must use dedicated rail cars, trailers, hoses, equipment, etc. for each chemical. Chemical company to incur all costs to cleanup, correct, repair; reimburse, etc. the City in the event that dedicated equipment is not used, cross contamination occurs, etc. All chemicals are required to be NSF 60 Certified. Each chemical delivery is required to have certificate of analysis for chemical being delivered. In the event of an emergency, delivery must be made within 24 hours of order. All Deliveries must be received within 5 days of the order date. In the event of an emergency or chemical failing to meet specifications the city reserves the right to cancel or refuse delivery without penalty or charge. Delivery to be scheduled in advance with operators of Water Treatment Facility or Wastewater Treatment Facility. The City of Rochester requires deliveries to be made between the hours of 7AM and 12 PM - unless city requires alternative, i.e., emergency delivery. *Non Zinc Ortho Phosphate prospective bidders must demonstrate through jar and pilot testing that their product is equivalent to the Non Zinc Ortho/Polyphosphate formulation currently in use by the water system. The bidder is responsible for contacting the City to schedule any testing to obtain raw water quality analytics and for performing any necessary corrosion control studies. *DENSE SODA ASH -Truck must have 0.25 / 1/4” filter screen(s) adaptor when unloading to prevent any soda ash lumps, chunks and/or solids from being pumped into soda ash silo during delivery. **DENSE SODA ASH – No Independent haulers will be allowed. ***SODIUM BICARBONATE - No Independent haulers will be allowed.
