Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Commonwealth of Kentucky desires to license out to a private concern property located at the State Park Marina and the State Park Boat Launch located off of 3215/Pleasant Ridge Road (see attached Exhibit A). Both would provide easy access to Yatesville Lake within Yatesville Lake State Park for the financing, operation, and maintenance of a kayak rentals operation. The Commonwealth has determined that the most feasible and responsible means for operating this type of recreational activity at Yatesville Lake is by and with private participation. The desired objective is a license agreement with a private entity, which will furnish, manage, operate, and furnish a first class, high quality kayak rentals operation in the highest and best tradition of the Kentucky Parks systems.
