Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Hillsboro ("City") is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide fiberoptic cabling services for its HiLight project described in the next paragraph. Tasks performed include installing the connectivity between our existing fiber distribution networks installed in the right of way (ROW) or public utility easement (PUE), the customer's building, and units or offices within the building. Further, the services may include but are not limited to, exterior installation of underground micro-conduit, fiber cable within conduit, aerial fiber cable drops from utility poles, splicing, and testing. It will also include the installation of interior infrastructure and cabling such as fiber distribution units, conduits, raceways, drop cables, and wall jacks. A fuller Statement of Work is included in the RFP as Attachment C.
