Specifications include, but are not limited to: Douglas County School District 0001 (Omaha Public Schools) (“District” or “OPS”) invites qualified suppliers to submit bids on the Fire Suppression System Services; Inspection to include but not limited to: 1) Check cylinder of Dry/Wet Chemical System. 2) Check operation of the remote pull station and mechanical devices. 3) Check hoods, grease removal devices, fan, ducts etc., for excess grease or sludge. 4) Check all fans for proper exhaust function. 5) Check nozzles for proper clearances and coverage of cooking equipment. 6) Verify hand portable fire extinguisher meets NFPA requirements. 7) Check, and replace if necessary, fusible links. 8) Check operation of electrical devices. 9) Verify system meets current NFPA requirements. 10) Tag system showing the inspection information. 11) Provide a detailed report to OPS with inspection results within two weeks of inspection.
