Specifications include, but are not limited to: the furnishing of all equipment and services necessary to provide an AED Program Management Solution. JCPS desires to move to one Brand/Model AED unit to cover each building throughout the school district. JCPS also seeks the following: 1. Training program. 2. Installation program. 3. Maintenance and tracking program. 4. Inspection and support program. 5. Trade-in program. Awarded vendor shall work directly with a medical professional for approval of all AEDs and shall work directly with the JCPS AED Program Manager for all other aspects of the contract. Awarded vendor shall provide and install AED and equipment/supplies (AED cabinet, pads, battery, and rescue kit). The awarded vendor shall maintain, inspect, and support all district AED equipment and supplies throughout this program. Due to the nature of this type of equipment, when used in an emergency, replacement supplies and area/regional support must be available within 24 hours of incident. The awarded vendor shall provide training for district personnel per Training Program outlined in this RFP. Vendor shall provide a trade-in program for current JCPS AEDs towards the cost of proposed unit.
