Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. All site work including construction of the gravel pad, building foundation, stairs, ADA ramp and landings, 3-phase power extension to building, well modifications, 100,000-gallon water storage tank, community watering point, wastewater pump station, 12,000-gallon fuel tank, standby generator, heat recovery system pipe loop, and all associated piping and electrical lines, including the arctic pipe sewer service lines under the building. 2. The department has procured materials for this project that the contractor shall use. These materials will be at the Port of Anchorage, 2000 Anchorage Port Road, Alaska 99501 (Port of Anchorage). The contractor shall be responsible for insuring and transporting these materials to the F.O.B. Final Destination (project site). 3. The department has procured five WTP/W modules that the contractor shall transport from the Port of Anchorage to the project site in Tuluksak, AK. The modules will be completed in August/September 2023, prepared for winter storage in Big Lake, AK, and delivered to the Port of Anchorage on or about April 20, 2024. The modules measure 14’W x 40’L x 13’-7”H and weigh 25,000 to 45,000 pounds each. 4. The department has procured the water treatment equipment described in specification section 01 64 00 and noted with an * on drawing sheets D001 through D701. The contractor shall transport the equipment from the Port of Anchorage to the project site in Tuluksak, AK. The equipment will be delivered to the Port of Anchorage on or about April 20, 2024, in two 8’x20’ shipping vans. The weight of the equipment and filter media in each van will be less than 15,000 pounds. 5. Participation in the substantial completion and final inspections of the modules at the fabricator contractor’s facility in Big Lake, AK. This will also include reviewing the instructions and inventorying the parts for re-assembly of the modules in Tuluksak, AK. 6. Coordinating shipment of the modules with the fabricator contractor and freight carriers and designing fork pockets or other attachments for lifting the modules by the perimeter beams while in transit and placement on the building foundation. Minimal loads, if any, will be allowed against the floor trusses/joists. 7. Construction of the building roof and all associated framing, metal roofing, roof support, insulation, flashing, trim, and snow stops.
