Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor agrees to provide an at-sea vessel, vessel operator, and one deckhand for 6- pack boats or 2 deckhands for larger vessels, rod and reel fishing equipment, longline fishing equipment and bait and to assist the Department in conducting longline hook-andline combination fishing surveys. Contractors will also assist in the single deployment and retrieval of SMURF sampling gear. Longline hook-and-line surveys will entail multiple trips to and from Port Orford out to the Redfish Rocks Marine Reserve and MP A, and associated comparison areas, located between Humbug Mountain and Orford Reef, within 3 nautical miles from shore. Crab pots with oceanographic sensors may also be deployed and recovered during each trip. Subject to the provisions of the contract resulting from this RFP (the “Contract”) shall become effective upon last date of signature by all parties thereto. Agency may seek authority to make one or more amendments (the “Anticipated Amendments”) to the Contract for the purpose of extending the term of the Contract and the maximum not-to-exceed compensation payable under the Contract or to modify the Services to be provided by the Contractor
