Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The awarded Contractor shall be considered the General Contractor for the Services and is responsible for all related tasks required to complete the work including obtaining any necessary permits. B. All inspections and reporting shall be performed in accordance with NFPA 25 standards for inspecting and servicing fire sprinkler systems. C. Inspection personnel must hold current inspection certifications for inspecting and servicing fire sprinklers and fire sprinkler backflow valves. D. Contractors shall coordinate all inspections with local school officials including announced times and durations of sprinkler shutdowns needed for 5-year inspections. E. Inspections must consider Summer School (Next Level Learning). Contractors shall coordinate inspections closely with local school officials for school facilities designated as HOST locations for Summer School. Column B on the attached as Exhibit A groups the school facilities by Inspection Types and Next Level Learning (NLL) status. F. Facilities requiring Five (5) Year inspections: a. Six (6) are HOST facilities for Summer School. b. Two (2) are open for Inspection all Summer. G. Facilities requiring Annual Inspections: a. Thirty-Nine (39) are HOST facilities for Summer School. b. Nine (9) are occupied during the summer with no Summer School (IE TAC, Distribution, etc.). c. Forty-Three (43) are open for Inspection all Summer
