All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide services as a liaison with the Hawaiian community when Board of Water Supply (BWS) construction projects either impact or have the potential to impact cultural sites and iwi. Services that may be required include but are not limited to, outreach as directed; attendance community meetings as required, preparation of materials for outreach as needed, initial review of BWS construction projects to determine if they will require involvement from the State Historic Preservation Division (SHPD); familiarity with the Oahu Island Burial Council (OIBC) and understanding of the roles of SHPD and OIBC; familiarity with SHPD rules, both State and Federal, regarding burials and cultural sites; knowledge and experience with reinterning iwi or at minimum, knowledge of the necessary protocols to assist descendants with reinternment, provide monthly written reports of work along with timesheet.
