Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Responsibilities of the Grantee: 1. The Grantee is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization and operates and/or provides services within the community for which the dollars are intended. 2. The Grantee will administer an account of these Direct Service Dollars for disbursal by written request of the regional AHS Field Director. Upon receipt of a written request for disbursal of funds from the AHS Field Director, Grantee will cut a check and follow the instruction of the Field Director in routing the check to its intended recipient. This written request must also be attached to the corresponding request for reimbursement. B. Responsibilities of the AHS Field Director: 1. The AHS Field Director will have authority in decisions for disbursement of these funds and will be responsible for administration of this Grant and all activities conducted under this Grant. 2. Upon learning of a request for direct service dollars, the AHS Field Director may consult with AHS staff members, local teams and organizations as necessary to make decisions regarding disbursement of funds. 3. Once a determination has been made by the AHS Field Director that Direct Service Dollars are to be used in a specific instance, the AHS Field Director will communicate the decision in writing to the Grantee, along with instructions for delivery of the funds to the recipient, and other pertinent details for the specific situation. The written communication between the Field Director and the Grantee will be maintained in a file.
