Specifications include, but are not limited to: Install seven (7) new 5-20R duplex receptacles and appropriate breaker switch. Install three (3) new 6-20R duplex receptacles and appropriate breaker switch. Replace receptacle and conductors in EWA hallway. Move disconnect and relays above the walk-in refrigerator (room 2428). Replace fire exit sign near room 2110 Install Exit sign in Virology area Replace Exit sign in Air Handler room All materials shall be new and meet any federal, state, or local requirements for such materials. All conduits must be behind the walls or above the ceiling. No surface conduit will be allowed unless indicated in the individual line item. Seal any wall or ceiling penetrations created by or resulting from the work. Please note that walls in the laboratory extend above the acoustic tile or gypsum board ceilings and the requirement to seal wall penetrations includes wall penetrations above the ceiling created because of the work in this solicitation. All work must be done in accordance with NFPA 70 and all other state and federal requirement for electrical work. Except when required by federal or state law all receptacles shall be non-GFCI receptacles. All new receptacles shall be on a dedicated circuit for that receptacle unless otherwise noted in the individual line item. Contractor is responsible for labeling each new receptacle with panel and breaker ID number. Contractor shall leave work area clean and is responsible for removing dust and other debris generated because of the work. Contractor shall follow all federal, state, and local requirements including but not limited to Chapter 104 (Prevailing wage law). Contractor shall possess a valid Hawaii State electrical contractor’s license (C-13) and use only licensed electricians for the work.
