Specifications include, but are not limited to: West Virginia University (“WVU”) Personal Rapid Transit (“PRT”) is soliciting for all labor, materials, equipment, and services to repair thirty-eight (38) concrete slab expansion joints and adjacent running surfaces, as detailed in the attached photos, drawings, and specifications. These joints are located in various areas of both the North and South directions of the PRT running surface, along the section of guideway between the PRT Central Maintenance Facility (99-8th Street) and the Engineering PRT Station (1384 Evansdale Drive). The North and South directions of the PRT running surface are physically separated by a structural steel median in some areas and elevation differences in other areas. The attached overview map shows the construction limits for repairs in the north and south guideway directions. All work is contained within WVU PRT property, however the Contractor will be responsible for any and all permits, traffic control, etc. that may be required, if temporary use/obstruction of public roadways are deemed necessary.
