Specifications include, but are not limited to: University of Iowa Health Care (UI Health Care) seeks an experienced executive search firm(s) to assist in the recruitment of clinical faculty in key strategic services identified by the institutional strategic growth plan. This plan is important for meeting our obligation to provide state-wide access to a comprehensive range of services, including for those who face barriers to accessing care. The University of Iowa Physicians (UIP) and the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics (UIHC) are equal partners in UI Health Care. The UIP provides comprehensive clinical care to patients, with over 1,400 health care providers that span basic primary care to advanced levels of quaternary care. The UIP is part of the University of Iowa and the Carver College of Medicine, a major research university that ranks among the top public medical schools by U.S. News and World Reports. The UIHC a comprehensive universityowned teaching hospital. The University of Iowa is in Iowa City, a vibrant community located in the rolling hills of southeastern Iowa. The community offers excellent schools, quality entertainment, literary, musical, and cultural opportunities, as well as Big 10 sporting events. The University seeks a search firm that can help to identify and recruit highly talented physicians in community based primary care and selected sub-specialties that are necessary to meet the clinical growth strategy of UI Health Care. We also seek clinicians in key services that have experienced abnormal attrition due to the nationwide shortage of physician workforce that has emerged during the pandemic.
