All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lincoln Electric System is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purpose of selecting ANSI/CTA-2045 compliant hardware and software to support a limited duration electric water heater demand response program pilot. LES is requesting proposals for all required ANSI/CTA-2045 compliant hardware, software and communications necessary to support a two-year pilot program, at minimum meeting the following requirements: Hardware Proposals shall include all ANSI/CTA-2045 compliant hardware required to interface with each of the 98 AO Smith water heaters and support the desired demand response functionality. All water heating shall be conducted by the electric water heater directly; the building mechanical equipment will not include mixing valves on the hot water service. Communications Proposals shall provide for all ANSI/CTA-2045 communications with the water heaters to be conducted via either cellular or FM Radio Data System (RDS) service. Wi-Fi will not be considered an acceptable medium for field-device communications. Communications service shall be included for the duration of the pilot program. Software Proposals shall include all software required for LES to directly schedule, control, monitor and report on the desired demand response functionality. Preference will be given to hosted applications without the requirement for physical server infrastructure to be located within LES facilities. Both web-based and locally installed software client applications are acceptable.
