Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Lewis Clark State College has requested an exemption from competition for the purchase of Default Management Solution Renewal. If approved, an exemption from competition may allow the agency to procure the property with limited or no competitive process. Exemption from competition is at the discretion of the DOP Administrator. In the interest of transparency, DOP is offering suppliers the opportunity to review this requested exemption and provide relevant information. The decision remains discretionary, and suppliers have no right to appeal the Administrator’s decision. LC State awarded RFQ 19-006 to ECMC in 2019 and implemented the suite of default management solutions. This solution supports default prevention, delinquency counseling, loan tracking, reporting and analysis. LC State is requesting an exemption to continue to use the solution that was implemented as a result of the 2019 RFQ. The solution has already been implemented, is part of our current business operations, and works efficiently to ensure we are compliant with Dept. of Edu guidelines. It would not be in our best interest to go to bid for a different solution.
