As part of this project A potential joing project with the Public Building Commission may include a parking garage with approximately 600 parking stalls willto be built over the transit center. One hundred parking stalls will be reserved for transit, public and transit employees. The construction of the parking garage and transit center shouldwill occur simultaneously, and the parking garage construction mustwill not interfere with the transit portion. TheA ground-floor should include an, indoor, climate-controlled passenger waiting area with restrooms and information counter, as well as. Ddriver breakroom and retail space. also on ground level, .StarTran administrative offices and large public space used for public meetings and events would be constructed on the second floor, above the passenger waiting area.
