Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Keene is seeking a qualified Consulting Engineering firm for the design, permitting and bid phase services associated our Transportation Heritage Trail – Phase I project. The project includes the design of bicycle and pedestrian amenities as follows: Upgrade of approximately 4,100 ft. of the existing Cheshire Railroad corridor from Eastern Avenue to Rt. 101, including drainage, brush clearing, grading and stone dust surfacing; Creation of connecting trails to Chapman Road and Marlboro Street, using an existing City-owned Class VI highway, including drainage, grading and brush clearing/grubbing and stone dust surfacing Reconfiguration of the existing trailhead at Eastern Avenue to improve circulation for vehicles and trail users.
