Specifications include, but are not limited to: This is a multi-discipline project that includes both NEPA expertise and general civil engineering work. It is anticipated that the project construction will be funded with a Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant, and or similar grant funding and will be let by the Iowa Department of Transportation (IDOT), therefore the successful consultant(s) must have extensive experience and expertise in project development within floodplains and rights-of-way, permits, United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) review, and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) review, plan preparation, specification writing, and construction inspection using IDOT policies and procedures. It is anticipated that a multi-discipline firm will be utilized for this project.
