Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor shall furnish a Portable Crusher with operator that will crush asphalt millings at a rate of 175 tons per hour or greater. Item will be for all mobilization costs associated with moving portable crusher to area determined by KYTC Engineer. The equipment shall be furnished in excellent mechanical working condition, in good general appearance, (free of human graphic art). The equipment shall be furnished fully operated with at least one (1) operator and with all maintenance and repairs including fuel and lubrication necessary for its operation. The rental rate is to be paid by the Transportation Cabinet only during the time that the above named equipment is in actual use on the project. No payment will be made for non production hours. The minimum order per delivery order will be eight (8) hours. The mobilization line item will be paid only once per delivery order, regardless of how many times the equipment has to be moved between projects. The equipment will be delivered to the place of beginning of operation and set up with no expense to the Department, and upon completion of work, the equipment will be transported away from the place of operations with no expense to the Department, other than the one-time mobilization charge on the delivery order. Equipment must be horizontal shaft impactor style crusher. The equipment shall be capable of crushing asphalt millings at an average of 175 tons per hour. Must be capable of all aspects of crushing operation from loosening existing clean millings from pile, running it through the crusher, and crushing/extracting 100% of millings to #8 material into separate stockpile with stacker. Vendor must be able to discharge at least 20 feet high into a stockpile. Vendor must stockpile material without driving on stockpile.
