Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this solicitation is to enter into a contract between the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and a Contractor or Contractors to provide traffic data collection station maintenance and repair for the Division of Planning. Construction and/or final inspections will be performed by KYTC Division of Planning personnel. The Contract Manager will advise all work items that are unsatisfactory for which corrective work will be required. When the corrective work is complete to the Contract Manager’s satisfaction, the Contract Manager will call the work order complete. Anchor, except rock anchor, shall be expanding type, with a minimum area of 135 in2 . Anchor rod shall be galvanized steel, double-eye, have a minimum diameter of 5/8 inches, and a minimum length of 84 inches. Minimum holding capacity shall be 15,400 lbs. Rock anchor shall be galvanized steel, triple-eye, expanding type, with a minimum diameter of ¾ inch, a minimum 53 inches long, and a minimum tensile strength of 23,000 lb.
