Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of the Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals in order to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for the purchase of Construction Services; The scope of work for this project includes the construction of a 19,443 square foot facility (the “Project”) to serve as NMERB’s headquarter building in Santa Fe. NMERB has purchased a 2.999-acre site at 5211 Las Soleras Drive in Santa Fe. This building shall be designed in compliance with Section 15-3-36, Energy Efficiency Standards for Public Buildings, NMSA 1978 and qualify for the Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR®. The ENERGY STAR® special application graphic, which denotes on the final contract document drawings that the estimated energy use is intended to be in the top 25% as compared to U.S. building stock. Once the building is complete and operating for at least one year, it shall qualify to receive the ENERGY STAR® plaque in accordance with the rules and procedures of the ENERGY STAR® program. This will not be a LEED project. This procurement shall be under the Competitive Sealed Proposals for Construction and Facility Maintenance, Services and Repairs rule per New Mexico Administrative Code (NMAC) 1.4.8 and will result in one award.
